Tanya Pakar : 6 Formula Kerjaya Impian
After
reading this article, I found it is a good reading material and gives a lot of
help to students and fresh graduates for job search preparations. Failed to get
a job is a main problem faced by fresh graduates. Thus, it will gives pressure
to them. The author had interview an expert to share research findings and tips
for job seeker. This article had a few fallacies even though it does provide
many evidences.
The author
had use the fallacy of appeal to tradition based on the statement of,” memang
sudah lumrah hanya sebilangan kecil graduan sahaja yang akan dapat mencapai
kerjaya impian mereka”. This shown that, this phenomenon had been always
happened before this. The author also said “PGNK yang rendah akan menjadikan
diploma atau ijazah graduan kurang bernilai di pasaran pekerjaan”, this
sentence shows appeal to ignorance fallacy because the author does not come
with strong evidence to support her statement. Other than that, the article
clearly shows slippery slope fallacy through the sentences “Mereka ini lazimnya
tidak yakin berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggeris dan bahasa antarabangsa lain.
Akibatnya, mereka langsung tidak dapat meyakinkan penemuduga ketika menghadiri
temuduga”. The author said that the graduates failed to get jobs because the
interviewer cannot accept fresh graduate as an employee that lack in
communication skills especially English language.
As a
conclusion, this article can gives the students and fresh graduates good
information for the preparation for job seeking. They can improve the area they
are lacking by following this tips.
