The 7 Steps of Highly Cool People
I had reading the articles of 7 steps of highly cool person, that is presenting
the 7 points of becoming ultra-cool, super suave i-teenagers. How the
authors prove it by following his steps would definitely makes a cool person?
Because in the articles are totally based on his personal opinion and research
but it does not have too much fact. The author also put several fallacies in
the articles.
Besides that,
the other type of fallacy is appeal to tradition. For example, “because I am an
adult and I know better…because I am The Guru of Cool”. The question from the
statement, is it true the adult will definitely a cool person? Next, the
other fallacy is the author clearly uses slippery slope. Based on the statement
“smoking is really bad for health. It is an expensive habit too”. This is
unhealthy practices and has bad effect on health due to smoking. Other than that,
“even my friends tell me dancing is the best form of exercise, and it is
definitely not a crime “. The fallacy from this statement is an appeal to
inappropriate, but how the person is not experts in a particular field tell the
fact, can we believe it?
For overall, I enjoy it read this articles and I think the articles is not give
the best way to become a cool person by following his steps because in this
articles have no strong proof or evidence to make a people attract to believe
it.
