feeling before and after test 3

Hello everyone...
For me,test 3 are quite challenging and do give me good experience. I got different feeling during presentation and after that. I feel guilty to my group members because I am not giving many help during the press conference. I not sure when should I interrupt the conversation, yet I am lacking confident to what I think. But, I am feeling relived after the presentation has end. Lastly,I want to thank you to teech and my group members about this assignment. It make me aware to be confident about myself. Not forgotten, good luck to the other group that has not presented. But, to think back about the mark, I feel enthusiasm to ask question. So, please look at me and choose me :)

Press Conference

Assalamualaikum, Hi everyone!

Teech, you are required everyone to write a weblog post about the press conference before. so, here there are some of actual feedback from me.

Actually, i feeling great after we had done our press conference. Before this, i had never joined the press conference, so i'm feeling lucky to have the experiences conduct a press conference. Honestly, this test are quite challenging my own ability. Lastly, thanks to all members of the fairies researcher group and good luck to the other group that will present next week!

Before and After Test 3

Assalamualaikum everyone !!

Teech, you said that everyone are required to write a weblog post about the forum before the end of this week right? Well, I only have 2 hours before midnight and I have no idea what to write.

Ok teech,

I felt really relieved because we had done our press conference. I never felt that way before. I thought I was gonna cry but luckily I wasn't. It was the toughest test EVER! My group members and I gave our best in preparing for this press conference. But we still lacking here and there. Never mind, nobody's perfect right? We still proud of ourselves. Thanks Bubbles!! I also want to congratulate Babies group on their Haunted Karak Highway press conference. It was good actually.

Oh, before I forget, I would like to thank you, teech for giving us an opportunity to test our capability to speak in front of the people. Last but not least, good luck to other group. Don't forget to choose me ok? I want to ask a lot of questions. :)

Press conference?

As Teech ask us to write anything about our presentation on last Thursday, so here, some feedback and true feelings from me. First of all, of course I feel very grateful because our group, The Bubbles which is the first group manage to present it very well. Even there are still lacking somewhere, but still I am proud to be in this group. During the presentation, the situation was very tense because nervous, scared, mad and all feelings have mixed up. With all mad faces from the floor, searching truth from us, that was so unforgettable experience. Here, I also want to congratulate Karak's group because they also have done a very good presentation. Lastly, good luck to the other groups, and thanks to all AAC1105E and Teech because giving me a very meaningful experience.

LAST PRESENTATION EXPERIENCE

About the presence conference last Thursday, I did something new that I never do before this. Before this I never made presentation like this. Actually before the presentation I felt nervous but excited to share about what have been done by my group. But the important things I enjoy the presentation with my group members and I felt very happy after the press conference ended. Furthermore, the press conference went pretty good in my opinion. I felt relieved, because the presentation has ended how I expected it to be.  The research team that I have worked with seems to have a great sense of working together making each task simpler and easier. Thanks to all the members of the fairies research group. However the most important I felt very happy because the presentation ended.

What I Felt Before and After Presentation

Hi, I'm Safwan
As teech requested, today I would like to tell about what i felt before and after presentation. What we faced during prepared this press conference.

I felt happy and relief after my group had presented last week about fairies. Before the presentation, we felt scared, nervous and we really hope this press conference can finished very quickly. Even though last week is very tough for us, we still make a perfect preparation to presented and make a possible question that would occurs from the floor. Actually, last week i had 3 events that held on 23, 24 and 25 August which is sport's day, sembang usahawan and family day. Other than that, on 16, 17 and 18 August we had 3 common test. that why i said that last week is the most tough for us. We sacrifice most of our time to prepare for the presentation. After class, we met to prepare for this presentation and then its continues until night at 11 pm. Mostly, we felt tired and tension while doing this presentation, but we tried to be happy, try to laught during prepare for this presentation. I also had to manage our faculty association business, so it make me felt very tired because many things i had to handle. On the presentation day, we tried our best to present about the fairies. As the moderate, i tried to be fair. Even though you said that sitting in the front give most benefit, i tried to choose the persons that sit on the back s that everyone had a chance to questioned us. Other things, i felt relief because teech only teach us how to get a mark during our presentations. This means that floor only learned how to became aggressive after we had done our presentation. I also felt happy when teech said that our group made a better preparations. That make us felt very relief. The reason why i post this blog is that i want to share all my experience during prepare our press conference. I really hope that teech saw how we sacrificed our time, our energy just to present for this test 3. That all from me

6 Formula Kerjaya Impian

The article is about problems faced by the fresh graduates after they had finished their studies. The writer shares some tips on how to achieve the dreamed professions. It offers a lot of information but, we do not know whether the ideas are relevant or not. It is because the writer does not give any evidence or fact to support the proposed ideas. Firstly, it is clearly shown that the article has the appeal to traditional. For example, in the sentence “memang sudah menjadi lumrah hanya sebilangan kecil graduan saja yang akan dapat mencapai kerjaya impian mereka”, the author does not provide any statistic that can support the statement.
Besides that, there is also a use of appeal to ignorance. In the article, it is stated that “PNGK yang rendah akan menjadikan diploma atau ijazah graduan kurang bernilai di pasaran pekerjaan”. Common people might think that the statement is true, but the validity of the statement remains to be questionable. The firmness of the statement is not concrete enough due to the absence of required fact.

In conclusion, I believe that the article is relevant to be categorized as one of the important issues to be discussed these days. It is fun to be read for there is much useful information shared. But it is not actually a good and balanced article due to the some fallacies present and lack of evidences. A good article should be one that has facts or evidences to support the content of the article.

The 7 Steps of Highly Cool People.

After reading this article, I found that the author tries to share on how to become cool people for teenagers. The author suggests some of the ways in this article. This article is interesting to be read but there are some fallacies which can be found in it. Firstly, there is an example of appeal to ignorance in the first paragraph. It is clearly shown in the sentence “because I am an adult and I know better. Well, actually, it is because I am ‘The Guru of Cool’”. From this statement, the author attempts to mention that we should believe in elder people. But without any prove we cannot accept this statement.
Other than that, this article also contains appeal to inappropriate authority. It is used in the sentence which states “Even my friends tell me dancing is the best form of exercise”. His friends are not the people who have any authority or qualification to clarify the given statement. We cannot easily agree with this statement without any supporting fact. Also, in the sentence “I know, I know, some of you are allowed to drink alcohol when you come of age”, I found that the author also uses appeal to traditional. Clearly, the writer does not provide any strong evidence to support the statement.

In conclusion, this article is a fun reading material but we cannot directly agree with any statement written by the author. There are some disputable fallacies found in this article because it lacks the evidences.

Tanya Pakar : 6 Formula Kerjaya Impian

After reading this article, I found it is a good reading material and gives a lot of help to students and fresh graduates for job search preparations. Failed to get a job is a main problem faced by fresh graduates. Thus, it will gives pressure to them. The author had interview an expert to share research findings and tips for job seeker. This article had a few fallacies even though it does provide many evidences.

The author had use the fallacy of appeal to tradition based on the statement of,” memang sudah lumrah hanya sebilangan kecil graduan sahaja yang akan dapat mencapai kerjaya impian mereka”. This shown that, this phenomenon had been always happened before this. The author also said “PGNK yang rendah akan menjadikan diploma atau ijazah graduan kurang bernilai di pasaran pekerjaan”, this sentence shows appeal to ignorance fallacy because the author does not come with strong evidence to support her statement. Other than that, the article clearly shows slippery slope fallacy through the sentences “Mereka ini lazimnya tidak yakin berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggeris dan bahasa antarabangsa lain. Akibatnya, mereka langsung tidak dapat meyakinkan penemuduga ketika menghadiri temuduga”. The author said that the graduates failed to get jobs because the interviewer cannot accept fresh graduate as an employee that lack in communication skills especially English language.

As a conclusion, this article can gives the students and fresh graduates good information for the preparation for job seeking. They can improve the area they are lacking by following this tips.

After I read the whole thing, I found that the article is really informative to the readers. Reading this article is a must for every university students and high school students as a preparation for the working world. The author is really smart and up-to-date as he wrote the article about the current issue in Malaysia. Nowadays, many graduates are failed to find jobs because of the competitions among them. Even though the article is good, but there are a few fallacies that can be found.

The first one is appeal to ignorance from the statement “Statistik menunjukkan sesetengah ‘kerjaya impian’ tinggal impian semata-mata kerana terlalu ramai yang berminat dengan kerjaya itu”. The author should provides a proof about the statistic given in the article so that it can strongly support the statement. The statement “Graduan mestilah memperoleh Nilai Purata Gred Keseluruhan-PNGK (CGPA) tidak kurang daripada 3.00 dan 3.50 ke atas untuk memohon pekerjaan di firma antarabangsa” shows the use of hasty generalization. The employers think that the higher the pointer, the more capable the graduate to do the job in the future.

The point is, the pointers are not the yardstick to measure the capabilities of the graduates. Last but not least, from the statement “Graduan yang membuat pelaburan tambahan dengan belajar sewaktu cuti semester contohnya, mudah mendapat pekerjaan dengan sijil tambahan yang mereka miliki”, it is clearly begging the question. According to the author, the graduates are easier to get jobs if they have additional certificates and experiences.

The article of ‘The 7 Steps of Highly Cool People’ is actually a good article which provides the readers a lot of information in order to be a healthy person. After I read the article, I believed that the author is living in a healthy lifestyle. There are few points that are not supported with strong facts. It is only based on the author’s opinions. So, the readers cannot fully accept the points. There are few fallacies that can be traced in the article.
The first one is appeal to inappropriate authority that can be found from the statement “Well, actually, it is because I am ‘The Guru of Cool’”. The author is not an expert in this area as it is not stated in the article. Next, the used of slippery slope through the sentence “It makes your teeth go yellow and gives a pungent stench to your sweat” which stated the bad effects of smoking. Through the statement “I know, I know, some of you are allowed to drink alcohol when you come of age” is clearly appeal to tradition.
Last but not least, the statement “We have actually found traces of poison in Ecstasy” is appeal to ignorance. The proof about the poison in Ecstasy is not mentioned in the article to support the statement. In conclusion, the article has a really interesting title which makes the readers eager to read the whole thing. Nevertheless, some of the points are quite excellent, but some are just fine.

The 7 Steps of Highly Cool People

After reading this article, I found it is an interesting source of knowledge to live as a highly cool people. But, I think the article is quite rubbish because the author thinks he is ‘The Guru of Cool’, he recommend teenagers to memorize his 7 steps to be cool people. Because of this, how can we bluntly follow all the steps as we were today’s teenagers that live in a different lifestyle and environment?

The author said “because I am an adult and I know better”, there is an appeal to ignorance fallacy because all the point that the author provide is just a personal opinion from his view. Yet, there are no facts or evidence to be included to support his point. The author also uses fallacy appeal to tradition. I found that when the author said,” I know, I know, some of you are allowed to drink alcohol when you come of age”. But, that is allowed for non-Muslim teenagers only. Other than that, the author also use appeal to inappropriate authority fallacy. It is found from the sentence “even my friends tell me dancing is the best form of exercise, and it is definitely not a crime”. But, the author’s friend is not an expert in the field of exercise.

As a conclusion, the article is fun to read but the author cannot expect the teenagers to follow his steps to be a highly cool people. It is because not all teenagers today can accept his way.

After reading the article in newspaper, I think this article is really useful especially to fresh graduates after finishing their studies. It contains a lot of information that may be use to find a job. The writer also shares an interesting fact about careers which is namely 6 Career Formula of dream. But not all the formulas are shared by the authors can ensure us to get the job.

Next, there are quite a few fallacies that can be found in the article. Firstly, there is the use of appeal to ignorance which is based on the statement, “PNGK yang rendah akan menjadikan diploma atau ijazah kurang bernilai di pasaran pekerjaan”. It does have a strong evidence that   stating whether the situation exists or not. Through the statements “memang sudah menjadi lumrah hanya sebilangan kecil saja graduan yang akan mencapai kerja impian mereka”. There is definitely a presence of appeal to tradition. This situation really occurs and is based on the tradition belief. Besides that, the author also put other fallacy, which is slippery slope. Based on the statement “segelintir graduan gagal dalam aspek Kemahiran Insan mereka. Mereka ini lazimnya tidak yakin berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggeris dan bahasa antarabangsa lain. Akibatnya, mereka langsung tidak dapat menyakinkan penemuduga ketika menghadiri temu duga". Most of the students are lacking of soft skills training and communication skills.

Lastly, I am interested with the formula shared by the author. This formula can be use as guideline to the university students to prepare themselves before stepping into the working environment and facing challenges in workplaces.

Tanya Pakar: 6 Fomula Kerjaya Impian

This article is a good article to read by people especially to undergraduate students and for graduate students. This article expressed many criterias that needs to be fulfill, so that it is easier for people to acquire jobs. Nowadays with an unstable economy, it has become harder for people to seek jobs. The author provides many tips with evidence for readers, so that they can use those tips as useful facts. Even though there a number of supportive evidence, there are also a few fallacies that reader can find in this article. Like an example slippery slope. The author has lead the reader to believe that, when we failed to communicate in several language especially English, we cannot make the interviewer accept us thus leading to a job.
In this article also, we can find the fallacies of ad hominem. Example from this article is ”antara persoalan dibangkitkan dalam penyelidikan ini ialah walaupun kita boleh menyalahkan faktor ekonomi atau pasaran pekerjaan yang semakin terhad, bagaimana pula tahap kesediaan graduan selepas mendapat diploma atau ijazah pertama?”. In this statement, the author is attacking graduate students instead of the country’s economical problem. Graduate student can’t find a job because they are not ready.
This article has many good tips to be taken by reader, after five years of research with a great successful.

The 7 Steps of Highly Cool People

In my opinion, this article is a good article to read, but it has many author side of view because there is no evidence to support the points and facts written. In this article, there are quite a number of fallacies that readers can found. Firstly, the author had used appeal to common practice. It is proven by the sentence of “Because I am an adult and I know better.” It is common for adults to know much more affairs and matters than the younger. In fact, community believes in the words of the elder rather than to believe on what the younger had to say.
Secondly, there is an appeal to inappropriate authority. The author said that “even my friend tell me dancing is the best form of exercise.” The author took an opinion from his friend, who is not appropriate to have said that dancing is the best form of exercise. Authors just use his friend to support his point in this article. Other fallacies that reader can find in this article is ad populum, “Do you think that dudes like Schumi once raced on the laps of Jalan Kuching or the wide, open track we call the Federal Highway?”. The author used Schumi to support his point which is illegal racing is really wussy, so that reader can accept this point.

In conclusion, there is no evidence to support each of the point. it become a good article for some people to read and useless for other.

The 7 Steps of Highly Cool People

I had reading the articles of 7 steps of highly cool person, that is presenting the 7 points of becoming ultra-cool, super suave i-teenagers.  How the authors prove it by following his steps would definitely makes a cool person? Because in the articles are totally based on his personal opinion and research but it does not have too much fact. The author also put several fallacies in the articles.

Besides that, the other type of fallacy is appeal to tradition. For example, “because I am an adult and I know better…because I am The Guru of Cool”. The question from the statement, is it true the adult will definitely a cool person? Next, the other fallacy is the author clearly uses slippery slope. Based on the statement “smoking is really bad for health. It is an expensive habit too”. This is unhealthy practices and has bad effect on health due to smoking. Other than that, “even my friends tell me dancing is the best form of exercise, and it is definitely not a crime “. The fallacy from this statement is an appeal to inappropriate, but how the person is not experts in a particular field tell the fact, can we believe it?

For overall, I enjoy it read this articles and I think the articles is not give the best way to become a cool person by following his steps because in this articles have no strong proof or evidence to make a people attract to believe it.

6 Formula Kerjaya Impian

I think this is a good article. It gives a lot of information to fresh graduates like me. By reading the article, I manage to get new information as my preparation to get a job in the future. The researcher stated that, unemployed phenomena happen because most of the fresh graduates are too choosy in selecting their career. That is why this article gives much benefit because it comprises the formulas on how to be one of the most favourite candidates during interview.

However, two fallacies were found in this article, which are the appeal to tradition and appeal to ignorance. The fallacies are, “memang sudah menjadi lumrah hanya sebilangan kecil graduan saja yang akan dapat mencapai kerjaya impian mereka” and “PNGK yang rendah akan menjadikan diploma atau ijazah graduan kurang bernilai di pasaran pekerjaan”. These two fallacies show that the article is not a balance one because the readers are questioning its validity due to lack of evidence and authority.

Although the formulas are derived from research, this article still cannot grab the attention of the readers because most of the six formulas are just common rules that are already known by the graduates. Thus, this article will become less interesting to them. Undeniably, this article also gives some ideas for the graduates to start their career in entrepreneurships if they find it hard to get their dream job. In conclusion, other than knowledge, this article also helps graduates to boost their chance in excelling for their dream job.

The 7 Steps of Highly Cool People.

In my opinion, this article is inadequate to the eyes of the readers due to its lack of information, for there are many questions remain unanswered throughout the article. It leaves the readers with puzzling questions. It also does not bring along a strong fact to prove the provided statement. The phrase ‘Guru of Cool’ is just a psychology trick from the author to gain trust from the readers. The phrase also shows that the author is self-praising himself, because the author wants the readers to trust and believe in him. Thus, this proves that the article is related to appeal to emotion.

The author also uses a few different set of fallacy in the article. For example, there is an obvious use of appeal to inappropriate authority which is, “Even my friends tell me dancing is the best form of exercising”. It is stated that the author only uses words from a friend to support the author’s conclusion. Besides that, the author also uses fallacy of appeal to tradition, which is, “I know, I know, some of you are allowed drink alcohol when you come of age”. Other than the previous statement, the phrase “we have actually found traces of poison in Ecstasy” shows a clear example of appeal to ignorance.

As a conclusion, this article can only be used as a time-out reading material but not as a reference because this whole article is just a direct opinion from a person and lacking in terms of solid facts.
